When I spoke with the founders in the Zoom meeting, Shannon said they do indeed plan to do that. But it will require starting from scratch with a different platform due to all the bugs that can’t be fixed with WordPress.

There is no point putting resources into fixing bugs in a platform that will be dropped anyway. So we will have to be patient and wait until they have enough income from subscribers to cover the cost of upgrading.
